Deborah Goodman Davis brings over 25 years of expertise in the art world. With a keen eye for quality and a deep understanding of her clients’ preferences, Deborah curates investment-grade artwork tailored to their unique tastes.
Her distinguished career spans key positions at renowned institutions such as the Art Institute of Chicago, Yale University Art Gallery, the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University, the Montreal Museum of Fine Art, and Sotheby’s London. Recent notable curatorial projects include the visual art program at New York City Center and the 2023 exhibition “Mosaics” at James Barron Art, alongside collaborations with influential figures like Jeffrey Deitch for the show “Post Human”.
Beyond curatorial work, Deborah is a published author, earning the Mom’s Choice Silver Medal Prize for her 2012 children’s book, “Speeding Down the Spiral: An Artful Adventure”. She has also contributed as an editor for “PhotoRX Pharmacy in Photography Since 1850″.
A dedicated arts patron, Deborah holds influential roles on the boards of organizations such as the New York City Center, the American Friends of the Israel Museum, the Herbert F. Johnson Museum, and American Friends of Batsheva. She chairs the Contemporary Art Acquisition Committee at AFIM and the Friends of Photography Acquisition Committee at the Johnson, showcasing her commitment to fostering artistic endeavors.
Deborah earned her BA in Art History from Cornell University and her MA from the University of Chicago, furthering her expertise through coursework at the Yale University Graduate School of Art History and the Sotheby’s Works of Art Course in London.
